Super Saiyan 1

Super Saiyan 1 is the first transformation the player can obtain. It has two versions that can be obtained through mastery and is compatible with kaioken level 1.

Super Saiyan 1

Activation of SSJ

Super Saiyan 1 is the first version of the transformation. After you beat Skeletron, you have a 5% chance to become a Super Saiyan when dying to any other boss. After dying to other bosses three times, however, you will have a 100% chance to obtain Super Saiyan 1 when dying to any boss a fourth time.

Whilst in this form, ki damage and speed are increased by 50%, with a 25% damage boost for non-ki weapons. Additionally, base defense is increased by 4. However, ki is drained at a rate of -60 ki/s, and attacks drain 25% more ki. Visually, your hair will be yellow and raised, and you will emit light.

Ascended Super Saiyan

Activation of ASSJ

Ascended Super Saiyan is a slightly more powerful version of Super Saiyan 1. It is unlocked once you have achieved 50% Mastery of Super Saiyan 1, and can be activated by pressing the transform key while using Super Saiyan 1.

Whilst in this form, ki damage and speed are increased by 75%, with a 37.5% damage boost for non-ki weapons. Additionally, base defense is increased by 4. However, ki is drained at a rate of -70 ki/s and attacks drain 40% more ki. When mastered, the drain rate is decreased to 35 ki/s. Visually, your hair is slightly spikier than your hair in Super Saiyan 1, and your aura is slightly larger as well.

Ultra Super Saiyan

Activation of USSJ

Ultra Super Saiyan is the highest evolution of Super Saiyan 1. It is unlocked once you have achieved 75% Mastery of Super Saiyan 1, and can be activated by pressing the transform key while using Ascended Super Saiyan.

Whilst in this form, ki damage is increased by 90%, with a 45% damage boost for non-ki weapons, but your speed is decreased by 10%. Additionally, base defense is increased by 6. However, ki is drained at a rate of -90 ki/s and attacks drain 60% more ki. When mastered, the drain rate is decreased to 45 ki/s. Visually, your hair becomes even more spikier than your hair in Ascended Super Saiyan.

Notes

• The Super Saiyan 1 transformation is the only form that actually gains a 100% chance of being obtained after dying a certain amount of times.
• If you are wearing anything in the in the vanity slot, your hair does not change with any form of Super Saiyan. This does not apply if the helmet vanity slot is empty, even if you are wearing a helmet.
